Cost - Rates are lower than for larger international service providers, which
can often be double the Independent rate. Dealing directly with the
contractor removes the additional overhead of going through an Agency
(typically around 15%).
Less Risk - Currently there is a risk that standard Agency contracts
may lead to a contractor being able to claim employment
rights and benefits from the client.
Flexibility - Talking directly to the contractor can
result in a more flexible
working relationship, as opposed to going through several management
layers in a larger service provider or Agency.
